Destiny Herring: Ap Art Portfolio

My Favorite transparencies project because i feel like the black background makes the colors pop. Also the transparencies are subtle but if you look at the picture long enough, they start to appear as your eyes go over the canvas.
When I started on this work I was thinking of springtime colors and the leaves, and how the leaves change all sorts of colors. I wanted to make this look like the leaves falling off trees in bundles in the spring.
This was my second geometric shape project. I put it at the bottom because I still feel like there should be something added, a color or a shape, but i just don't know.
For this image I wanted to create a paint splatter look, kind of "all over the place". I felt like the colors didn't really pop the way I wanted to. I did not want a variety of colors, but I did want them to stand out. But the blues and purples seem to move into the background. I like the white on my image though.
This image was inspired by the thought of space and the different rocks falling around. I used the pink and blue outlines to highlight the rocks around on the dark background.
